How is the CITB SSSTS Course in Brentwood Delivered?
We are proud to deliver the CITB SSSTS course at our training centre and online, giving you total control over how you learn. There’s no right or wrong choice—just whatever suits you and your needs.
You will need to attend both days of the course, with your exam taking place on the second and final day. There are assessment exercises throughout the course and the 30-minute exam consists of 22 multiple choice and 4 safety critical questions—and the GE706 book can be used for the last 10 minutes of the exam. The exam questions need to be answered correctly for you to successfully pass your course.
Certification
The certificate lasts 5 years, and to retain your certificate you will need to take a refresher course before that 5-year window is up. We provide the refresher course here, so you can return to us when the time comes for the same great learning experience. The CITB certificate takes 2-3 weeks to be generated, and it will be emailed to you for your convenience.

About SSSTS Training Course
To achieve a broad understanding of construction site health and safety matters, book a place on our CITB Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) training course which can be completed remotely or in various classroom venues. This training programme is known as the industry standard for any employees who work in a supervisory position on UKCG sites; it is approved and endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group and is an absolute must for any construction professionals who are responsible for their own set of workers. There are no previous qualifications required to take this course.
