You do not need previous experience of dealing with health and safety regulations to attend this course – you will be taught everything you need to know on the programme. During the SSSTS course in Barking, you’ll cover a wide range of topics, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, risk assessment procedures, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and the Reporting of Injuries Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995. What do SSSTS & SMSTS courses involve?

By enrolling in our Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) courses, you can expect to expand your knowledge of construction health and safety legislation at a supervisor or management level. The courses will cover a variety of topics respectively including the latest safety legislation, the procedures that must be followed onsite at all times, risk assessment procedures and employee safety – to name just a few!

Please check each course for a more in depth profile, but the SSSTS course will involve practical exercises and a multiple choice exam to finish, whereas the SMSTS course will be a 5-day course which ends with an exam.
