How does the Mental Health First aid online course work?

The online Mental Health First Aid course is a 2-day program that is conducted remotely. This gives you the freedom to log-in from any location that works for you.

Delegates simply need access to a computer or laptop with a working webcam, microphone, and Internet connection. You will be required to be on camera and interact with your course instructor and fellow delegates to complete the course in full. This will allow you to participate in group activities, discussions and ask your instructor questions as needed. Communication is essential to get the most out of the session, but you’ll find the training to be just as comprehensive as any classroom based program.

Your course will be delivered by a qualified MHFA instructor. At the end of the course, you will have a clear action plan for dealing with Mental Health in the workplace and personally. You will also have the confidence to know how to approach an individual and offer the correct support to someone who may be struggling with symptoms.

How does course certification work?

Target Zero will provide all delegates with the manual and workbook you will need to take part in the course. There are some online learning exercises to be completed before each section. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded with an MHFA England certificate. All Mental Health First Aid England courses are recognised internationally.
