This Mental Health First Aid course is for individuals who work across a whole host of industries who want to have a better understanding of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety and suicide. Those who attend the course will leave with the confidence to be able to recognise the signs of mental health issues and be able to engage with someone needing mental health support and signpost them for further help if they require it.

What you can expect from Mental Health First Aid courses in Essex

The mental health course available at Target Zero will cover a variety of topics and teach candidates how to recognise the warning signs of mental health and how to develop the confidence and skills to approach the person and provide support.

The course is currently run via remote learning over the course of 2 days, so you will need access to a laptop or computer. Target Zero will provide the manual and workbook for the course, and upon completion, you will be awarded with a MHFA England certificate.
