An overview of the SSSTS Training Course:
After successful completion of the SSSTS course, the delegate will reinforce their existing skills regarding relevant health and safety legislation, current guidance and best practice. In addition, the individual will also refresh their understanding of H&S, welfare and the environment.
Every SSSTS course will cover the following:
- Health and safety law and how it applies to supervisors
- Supervisory responsibilities in controlling site safely
- Risk assessments and the need for method statements
- Effective site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
- Monitoring site activities effectively
- Timely intervention when bad practice is identified
Certificate:
The certificate lasts 5 years and the refresher course needs to be completed before the existing certificate expires. Alternatively, the delegate may look to book a SSSTS course with Target Zero.

We ask you to complete an Initial Assessment via a link that is emailed to you. It is a CITB requirement that all delegates have a sufficient level and understanding of English to take the course.
Confirmation of your result will be emailed shortly following the course completion.
